There is something telling about a couple whose only rule for their own wedding is “no bad vibes.” It sets a tone — one that Matrick Belton, known to WWE fans as Trick Williams, and Anriel Howard, who performs as Lash Legend, seemed to carry through every moment of their multi-day celebration in Jamaica on June 20, 2026.
The ceremony took place at Trident Castle in Port Antonio — a European-style castle sitting right on a peninsula, with the Caribbean Sea stretching out behind it in that particular shade of blue you can never quite photograph accurately. Howard walked a white aisle lined with roses and hydrangeas as Jamie Foxx’s “Heaven” played. Once she reached Belton, the two exchanged traditional vows with that ocean view behind them. It’s the kind of setting that doesn’t need embellishing.
Howard wore three custom gowns throughout the day — all created by Atlanta-based designer JoJo Lindsey of JoJo’s Atelier and luxury brand Bodied by JoJo. Belton arrived in white from the Miguel Wilson Collection. Perhaps the most meaningful detail came from the wedding party, whose formalwear was custom-made in Ghana — a quiet but deliberate nod to heritage. After their vows, the couple jumped the broom, a tradition carried by many Black families as a way of honoring where they come from. These weren’t performative choices. They felt considered.
Among the 120 guests were WWE colleagues Oba Femi, Nia Jax, Julius Creed, and rapper Lil Yachty — who has become something of a fixture in Williams’ orbit inside WWE. Belton’s oldest brother, Andre, officiated the ceremony. There is something grounding about having family lead that moment rather than a stranger with a script.

The Trick Williams wedding was not a single evening. It was a weekend — a welcome dinner, water excursions, a block party, meet and greets, and a farewell breakfast on the beach. All of it was planned by Franciene Foster of Jamaican Wedding Concierge. Howard put it plainly: “We love to host and give people an overall experience.” That instinct shows. This wasn’t a wedding people flew to and then sat through. It was a trip.
The reception offered a buffet that mixed American and Jamaican food — jerk shrimp, braised oxtail, lamb chops, conch, beef patties, smoked salmon, and pan-seared snapper among them. The wedding cake came in three flavors: red velvet, white, and lemon. Their first dance was to “Fire and Desire” by Rick James and Teena Marie, a song that has carried a certain weight in Black culture for decades. The choice felt intentional in the best way.
Both Williams and Howard joined WWE around 2020 and have since built real momentum. Williams currently holds the United States Championship. Howard, a former WNBA player with the Seattle Storm, previously held the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Nia Jax. They got engaged on Thanksgiving last November at their new home — friends first, then partners. That progression, friendship becoming something more durable, tends to make for steadier ground.
The honeymoon is planned for Africa, including a safari. After that, they’ve said they look forward to continuing to travel the world and eventually starting a family. It’s hard not to notice how unhurried that sounds — no rush, no pressure, just a couple with a clear sense of what they want and enough patience to enjoy the road there.
